Pros

Challenging environment and intelligent colleagues

Cons

Toxic office politics and bureaucracy.

In my org, they like to put people on focus when they are on leave. In my case, I went on PTO after launching a project. When I got back, they told me I'm on focus and have 2 months to meet the goals, but in fact, I only have 45 days left since it started on the first day of my PTO.

I heard the same thing happened a few times before in this org, even for maternity leaves. Their attempts to get out of the plan eventually got denied by L8 with no good reasons, despite L7 approvals on their commitments.

I eventually got impacted by large-scale layoffs before I finished my plan, which was actually a relief since I've been so burnt out.
