Culture and experience are very team dependent
There are teams with a lot of interesting work, but the experience is very team and mostly manager dependent. Finding a good/supportive manager will make this experience at least a 4/5.
Work can be very political and procedural, and there are a lot of middle managers who just micromanage all day.
