I loved working here as an intern. All team members were incredibly helpful when I asked for advice and were just as curious about my project as I was about their day-to-day work. Couldn't ask for a better internship!
I was based in Seattle, and so it was very difficult for interns to get around via any sort of transportation, as well as it being extremely crowded everywhere with very expensive rent. But that was not an issue from Amazon itself, rather a placement issue, and the intern package helped alleviate any housing issues significantly.
I got unlucky and got a bad interviewer. They wouldn't clarify any of my questions, and it was a very open-ended problem. They seemed disinterested the whole time, so it was already downhill from there.
Overall experience was great, but I don't think I learned a lot from this internship. Okay project. Fun team. Seattle was nice. Pretty high salary for an internship. I don't know how to make this 30 words.
I took an online assessment consisting of two questions. Then, I had a 45-minute online interview with behavioral and technical questions. There were follow-ups to the behavioral questions, but they were pretty easy.
