You are given a lot of independence and trust from your teammates and the people you work with.
This means that, as a person, you have to be quite disciplined to do well at this job, as you are often expected to take your own decisions and figure things out by yourself.
Working in such a big organization can be a little confusing sometimes, when it’s not very straightforward whom to reach out to to get specific technical advice.

I got unlucky and got a bad interviewer. They wouldn't clarify any of my questions, and it was a very open-ended problem. They seemed disinterested the whole time, so it was already downhill from there.
