As an intern, I was given a project that I had full ownership of. This made me responsible for the project from design/ideation to implementation to deployment. At each stage, you're guaranteed to learn something new.
The specific team I was on had great management and was working on high-impact tooling. This was a plus since it naturally led my project to be high impact.
Most engineers here are super talented, seasoned, and helpful, so you're definitely going to learn a lot from them.
The company is huge, so your work is likely to be far from end-users. My project in particular was built for internal use only.
Encourage more team-specific ways to bond during quarantine. More small groups, less webinars.
The whole interview lasted about an hour: * 30 minutes behavioral * 30 minutes technical There are lots of videos on YouTube about Amazon behavioral interviews. The technical portion focused on trees and graphs. The interviewer was very helpful
I was shared an OA, which was a standard LeetCode medium to hard level. Along with that, there were work-style questions. Once that was cleared, I had an online interview with an employee. It was from the previously asked questions from LeetCode.
2 behavioral questions and 1 DSA LeetCode hard question on graph Eulerian circuit. Was able to come up with a solution after brute force, but still got a reject after a month.
