It's always a good experience to see how things work inside Amazon, a valuable experience for sure.
Fresh managers and unexperienced buddies might not support you as much as you need if you are unlucky to get matched with one of them. I have worked with both of them at the same time. I changed 4 managers in 6 months, as I was joined to a low-performance team.
