There are lots of opportunities to expand your skillset.
If you can succeed at Amazon, you can pretty much succeed at any other software company.
You are given many responsibilities. You are expected to stay on top of multiple projects. You'll also be part of an on-call rotation, which can get very annoying. Expect to handle many emergencies.
