Good, cutting-edge technology. Stock value appreciates, but that you can find in other companies.
Very long hours of work.
No respect. The manager thinks he can bully anyone into submission. HR policy does not protect any employee from being fired, even when it is unfair.
Money-wise, it is not at par with other FAANG companies.
Very stressful during launch times. I have worked an average of 60 hours a week on a good week. I have worked many weekends.
I would say to stay away from the company, especially AWS. Join only if you are desperate for a job or use the AWS offer to negotiate with other companies.
There is no point advising the manager. They really do not care.
LP questions about projects and then coding. The interview took a bit more than an hour. The interviewer was nice, even though he apparently only knew Java and not Python.
Standard interview process: * Data structures and algorithms online assessment (OA) * Workplace simulation * Final round: 3-hour virtual interviews covering DSA, OOP, and behavioral questions related to Amazon's leadership principles.
Short OA followed by a behavior test, which was moved onto a technical interview. There was a long time to hear responses in between each part of the interview process, but the recruiter was quick to respond to questions I had.
