Good first job
As a college hire, it was a good place to get my feet wet in the industry and see how products are built at scale. A lot of internal tooling is not going to be used elsewhere, but building on AWS is great for when you leave.
It's hard to feel like you are making a huge impact when there are 100,000 engineers. Promotions sometimes feel arbitrary, and you have to put in your time.
