You need to get up to speed and contribute with ideas quickly, which can be challenging at the beginning. Ideas go bottom-up, but this is still a big corporation with a hierarchical structure. You would have more responsibility and impact in a smaller company, but more than in some other corporations. You are appreciated, but still a cog in the machine.
