Pros

Learn a ton of stuff in a short amount of time.

Work with brilliant and sharp people.

Many opportunities to work on cool software.

Cons

Many senior engineers are arrogant.

Anyone with an L7+ title thinks they are a god.

People will ping you anytime of the day. Some people disregard your time zone.

The 2-pizza rule is pretty much disregarded. 2 pizzas definitely aren't enough to feed some teams.

Advice to Management

Don't keep hiring people if you can't keep up with managing them.

Bigger teams do not always equal better teams.

Have empathy and understand you are managing people, not robots.
