Your progress will largely depend on your manager; their claim to love numbers more than anything applies only where it is convenient.
Horrible work-life balance - you are pretty much expected to do something extra just to keep up.
Compensation is 'OK' – don't expect to see any bonuses or workplace perks. They take frugality and turn it into penny-pinching.
