Interesting, but high workload
The work is very interesting and cutting-edge, the salary is good, and it's right in the middle of Seattle, so there's lots to do. Amazon's working on some exciting stuff.
They do not put a high priority on work-life balance. Amazon will make you work very hard, and when you're on call, you'll have to bring your laptop everywhere. You'll work weekends and overtime, and because you're salaried, you don't get paid more.
