Intelligent coworkers, good company location, and good salaries.
Not a big fan of on-call, and work-life balance is not always very good.
I would recommend switching to a Netflix-style uncounted amount of personal/vacation time. We already regularly work extra hours and some weekends (in addition to getting paged after hours), and we don't keep track of those hours, so it seems unfair to be keeping track of time off hours. Identifying abusers of the system can be at the manager's discretion.
