My team is very laid back most of the time. It's a great work environment. People bring dogs to the office. Generally, it is easy to get up to speed on new projects and begin contributing.
It can be difficult to stay focused in the office some days, what with loud nearby conversations and upset pets. I can usually go somewhere else to work, though.
