Great distributed system.
Engineers are very friendly, talented, and hardworking here.
Work-life balance sucks.
CFN team management is one of the worst in AWS, with little employee benefit and a super slow promotion track.
The management layer is so overpowered that opinions from engineers cannot be heard or respected enough (to some extent).
Keep hiring new employees will not stop people from leaving. Figure your problems out.
