Cons

Bureaucracy is annoying; everything requires docs, reviews, and criticism. It's not always efficient decision-making.

The promotion process is not always unfair. Well-deserving employees are usually in a stretch role or performing at the next level, but still have to jump through promo hooks.

Advice to Management

The promo process makes employees feel they're undervalued.
