The work-life balance is awful. There is a lack of documentation, and the one available happens to be outdated, making it useless. The learning curve becomes a problem if you are on a new project.
I know the importance of the bias for action principle, but rushing projects and having incomplete documentation, workbooks, and runbooks, combined with people leaving all the time, makes it a death sentence during the on-call week.
