Frugal. That's all I can say
There are a lot of experienced engineers on board, and there are always plenty of resources to guide you if you need help.
One's experience varies team to team. My manager didn't seem very interested in making sure employees are happy. I communicated with my manager for less than an hour during my entire stay at Amazon.
They really need to consider looking after their employees before the company gets out of control. Being frugal is okay to a certain limit, but I think they cross the line a lot of times.
