Summer Software Development Engineer Internship
I had a lot of fun working at Amazon. I met a lot of people, and gained a few very close friendships.
Additionally, I was always learning new things, from my team and via the Amazon-wide tech talks. Overall, it was a great experience for learning how to be a better developer and what it is like to work at such a large company.
From what I saw, it was either hit or miss whether the mentorship program was actually beneficial. Some interns had mentors that really facilitated their learning, but others had mentors who seemed to only be interested in their own career advancement.
