Pros

The level of ownership that you have will vastly exceed other places. Amazon is constantly growing and trying to improve. This can provide a wealth of opportunities for those on the lookout.

Cons

I've had seven managers in my time there, and all of my coworkers left in a continuous stream.

This does not provide a good growth and learning atmosphere.

It also increases the workload on the remaining engineers.

Leadership principles are used as a pretext by middle management to stifle people they don't like.

Don't start me on the technical bar. It is wildly inconsistent.

Advice to Management

Listen. And give a **** about your employees.
