Pros

Very flexible work hours. Decent workplace. Frequent outings. Work From Home available. Challenging projects for interns, good learning experience.

Cons

No proper mentoring is provided to interns.

Everyone on the team ignores shared responsibility tasks, like code reviews and helping interns, due to limited or no bandwidth.

Deadlines include working more than office hours, plus weekends as well.

The stipend is much less than competitor tech giants, such as Microsoft and Google.

There is no free food and no door-to-door cab facility.

Advice to Management

The management should establish contact with interns and let them know whom they can contact if they are facing any issues.

They should look into whether managers should have one-on-ones with interns.

The management should not ignore interns as if they do not exist.

The amount of work assigned to an individual should not go so much beyond office hours, or the office hours should be updated to be at least 2 more hours each day.

Amazon is losing its brand value in the eyes of job seekers. Please take care to re-establish that once again.
