Lots of workplace events and a culture of helping others.
Development styles are difficult to work out, as it varies from team to team. This is not too hard to adjust because of the workplace culture.
When I was working as an intern, I worked within security. As a result, I didn't have the clearance to work with many of the central parts of the team. My advice to management is to have interns in sectors where this kind of clearance and training does not need to be done. I never did it because it would have taken the length of my internship.
