Pros

Great pay and benefits, and previously remote-friendly until RTO. New employees get Amazon RSUs. If you're in CA, you get floating holidays as well as two days off for Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Cons

The senior manager was extremely micromanaging. They were former military, so it didn't surprise me, as I unfortunately am used to it from my time served as well. Asynchronous collaboration isn't great for someone new to the company with no experience, like an intern or apprentice. The expectation was mentorship and to be set up for success, especially as a newbie in the career field, but unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. The team I was on treated you like a number, as opposed to 'work family'.
