First, a recruiter reached me via LinkedIn. She said she was impressed by my personal project and offered me a position at Amazon. Then, she sent me a link to HackerRank via email.

The coding questions they ask can only be answered well if you're truly a seasoned, experienced software engineer, as opposed to a LeetCode ninja. This is great, as I think people should prepare to be a good software developer, not memorize LeetCode

Went through 3 steps of the interview process: * One online coding assessment * One behavioral * One final online interview that included both a behavioral question as well as a coding question.
