Good quality work is easy to find since you can switch teams.
Pay is also fairly good for the skills needed to crack the interview.
Toxic culture.
Incompetent managers – they're given a lot of power and they love to abuse it.
Nobody trusts anyone. The PIP system breeds a backstabbing culture.
Middle management is incredibly incompetent.
Some old-fart engineers who got promoted years back are keeping the lights on.
Fire the middle management in the Software Development management chain. Precisely those who cannot code.
