I was told that there were definitely spots available and that I would be fine waiting a week to interview. However, there were none, and I was told to check back in a few months.

A recruiter reached out via email to set up some time to chat. We then chatted and fast-tracked to the next round. The next round was a technical interview in a HackerRank-like format.
