It's a competitive company with good pay

Pros
  • You'll learn a lot.
  • Competitive pay compared to most companies.
  • Customer-obsessed company, and you'll be solving interesting problems for customers.
Cons
  • Pay not as good as other top companies (Amazon bakes in a 15% growth assumption when deciding how much RSU to give you, which makes compensation look better than it actually is). Compensation is too stock-heavy with no performance bonus.
  • 5-day RTO.
  • Often a sense of urgency with projects. WLB varies a lot but is below average overall.
  • Lots of re-orgs, which create churn.
  • Not many benefits, though they're still decent overall.
Advice to Management

I'd recommend at least reverting back to a 3-day RTO and improving the comp planning. A 15% growth assumption is absurd.
