The interview at Amazon started with a thorough introduction phase, where personal and professional backgrounds were assessed in detail, setting a relaxed, conversational tone for the remainder of the discussion.

It was alright. The people seemed to be a bit overwhelmed by their work, and one arrived late, but it's okay. They were algorithm questions. I recommend practicing algorithm questions when preparing for Amazon interviews.
