It has become obvious that the only customers the company cares about are the investors. The quarter-to-quarter, short-term thinking that Amazon used to be known to avoid is now the law of the land. Leadership principles are no longer taken seriously, especially the more recent additions. As long as the difference between the lived experience of the employees and the corpo-speak coming from management keeps growing, the culture will keep getting worse. The only reason Amazon is still considered a good tech company to work for is the comp, which is also the weakest compared to its peers. Raise the quality bar, or else become the mediocre average big company you always said you wouldn't be.
Firstly, there were 2 rounds of classic LeetCode questions, [and] one round of Amazon Leadership Principles. [They] asked you to tell a story about scenarios where you showed one of the LPs.
It went well. They were very nice, and I had a great experience overall. Make sure you study very well for these, as they can be technically challenging. Overall, I would gladly do it again.
It lasts about 3 hours. I suggest that it would be better to have the meal before the interview starts. For the coding round, you cannot run it, so you should find your bugs by yourself.
