Operational pain is one of the worst things at Amazon.
Also, to get promoted is like waiting forever.
To get a good project, you would either have to get a good team that is working on some new stuff, or you would be waiting forever.

Software Engineer
There are three rounds of interviews. The first round is all about coding and some questions. The second round is all about character and leadership. The third round is about LeetCode, with more technical and coding questions.

Started with an OA, followed by a virtual onsite. Three rounds consisting of DSA, LLD, and behavioural questions. Strict emphasis on Leadership Principles. Most questions asked were related to Heaps. The entire process took five months.
