Great teammates, very interesting projects to work on. There is never a dull moment working for Amazon. Facilities are top tier.
Overworked with relentless deadlines.
At this location, a lot of the goals are at year-end.
God forbid if you are given one of these deadlines.
I have spent too many 80+ hour work weeks to be comfortable here, even WFH.
Expectations are too high. Just hire more software engineers, please.
The work/life balance is awful, and this needs to be resolved. Too often, engineers are pushed to reach the deadline instead of coming up with good solutions. This will hurt the company in the long run.
