I'm working for Amazon Prime Air. The bar is very high at Amazon; you're working with the best software engineers in the industry. The company allows you to move quite often between different divisions, and promotions are always possible. It is amazing to see how such a big company can move so fast.
Ramping up for software engineers takes some time. The build system and CI tools are not trivial and require some patience to get going.
There were four interviews with different engineers. These interviews will test your system design skills and data structures & algorithms skills. The interview is a little challenging if you are not into system designing.
First was an exam of problem-solving with 2 questions. Then 4 interviews over 2 days, or all in 1 day after the exam passed, but I didn't join them; I just did the exam.
I was referred for a new grad position and received an online assessment. It had two parts: * Behavioral * Technical I passed the test cases for the first part and half for the second.
