- You got to work with many intelligent people and learn from them.
- You got to work on a huge codebase that is owned by many different teams.
- Good mentor opportunities exist if you look for them.
- On-call escalation (especially late-night ones) can be stressful.
- (At least for my team) Team members are siloed in their own features, so half of the team doesn't really know what the other half is working on.
- Working with some external teams can take a long time and require a lot of escalations.
Consolidate features owned by individual teams.

Amazon Interview Experiences
Software Engineer
Recruiter interview, phone interview, four loops. Thirty minutes, one hour, and one hour for each loop. A total of about 6 hours of interviews. The process was normal at Amazon. Nothing too special but very lengthy.
