There is a lot to learn here, and as a result, you might have to work a lot to keep up. This is totally up to you, and you can speak with your manager if you aren't coping with something. So, basically, work-life balance is your own responsibility.
My manager is great. To keep anonymity, I can't say who, but they are a great people manager. Regular 1:1s are used to give feedback and encourage growth in certain areas to make me a more well-rounded developer. They are also very patient and understanding, which I think is very important, especially from an intern that is fresh out of varsity, coming into a fast-paced environment full of smart people with the highest of standards and expectations. :)

This is with regards to the technical interview I did at Amazon. It was 2 hours for two questions, which were very tough and beyond the scope of anything I'd seen on LeetCode until then, including the hard category of questions.
