Great Project, Learned A Lot
I got to work on an interesting project. There was pressure on the team to ensure that I was given a programming project that would be of benefit to me. I learned a great deal and grew my professional network.
The summer intern team out in the DC area didn't have great timing, but that doesn't affect your internship too much.
It would be good to give a schedule of what is expected in the first few weeks of the internship early on for each intern. Don't wait too long, or it will become obsolete.
