Not all that glorious once you join. AWS is really moving boxes from on-prem to the cloud. Unless you want to become a superficial infrastructure person and lose your value in the market as a professional, this is okay. Don't fall for the hype and leave your job.
Show some obsession toward employees as well. Happy employees equal happy customers.
