I have enjoyed the teamwork, learning, and exciting experience. The team was quite supportive as I was ramping up.
Finally, now that I am successfully contributing value to the team, I really enjoy the autonomy and "start-up" feel to decision-making.
I really like that you don't have to join management to advance your career. Amazon really values engineering skills.
The ramp-up in the first couple of months is intense. You need to come in ready to learn and put your pride away for a few months. Still, it is worth it to be making a real impact at work.
