Pros

Hired as a virtual contact center employee, 100% WFH even after COVID measures eased.

Doing the job by myself, so I can manage time and workload at my own pace - very flexible.

Cons

Repetitive job.

I am totally doing the job by myself without anyone's physical help.

I cannot go to any of Amazon offices since the employment contract is bound for a virtual contact center. I cannot meet anyone in person, and there is no socializing with other Amazonians in the real world.

Sometimes, it's hard to keep the motivation by oneself.

I don't really see much career development since I am not learning significant skillsets which can be also used outside of Amazon.

Advice to Management

Overall satisfied with the job, but it would be great if VCC employees can also have chances to interact with other Amazonians physically and visit the office sometime for training or socializing.
