I learned a lot about SWE as an intern.
It's very hard to change where you are in the company for full-time. You need to work in your current team for at least a year to even be eligible to switch to another team if you don't like your current team.
Medium and hard LeetCode questions didn't make it to the next round. If you attend college, they don't really have an option in the application; they specifically list universities. Make sure to check the LeetCode discussions board for the question
I got a hard HackerRank after receiving a referral for an internship. I was unprepared for the level of difficulty compared to previous years (and the person who referred me).
It was a three-step process. 1. LeetCode questions (monitored by system) 2. LeetCode questions (with a representative) 3. Formal Interview All the coding questions were LeetCode easy or medium.
