This was a multi-step process.

I had an initial informal one-on-one with one of their presenters at a meet and greet hosted at my university.

I submitted my resume via e-mail.

Next, I had a follow-up phone interview with the direct manager I would be working under.

Finally, I was contacted by HR to fill out paperwork.

It was a rather smooth and painless process.

Pros: Brilliant coworkers. Excellent work-life balance. Onsite gym. Location is very nice, on top of the hills. Opportunity to get a full-time offer. AMD interns usually get a greater amount of responsibilities compared to other companies, which eventually improves their skillset.

Cons: The company was not doing well for the last few years, but now things have started to change. There are very few perks, but that's okay since they were not profitable for some time.
