Product Development Engineer Interview Experience - Austin, Texas

Process

I had two phone interviews with two different group members, focusing mostly on technical questions.

I was originally scheduled for an on-site interview. However, a CEO change led to a hiring freeze, and thus the process stopped here.

I was told I might hear back in 30-45 days, but that timeframe has now been surpassed.

The interviews were somewhat difficult, but the overall process was mostly positive.

Questions

Draw a cross-section of an NMOS transistor and explain it to me in detail.

Explain the function of a transistor to a group of high school students.

Recite the equation for Idsat.
