It was not bad.
I applied through the university career portal. I got an interview three days after applying.
The interview consisted of:
- An IQ and Graphics Test in the morning.
- A brief introduction about the team and themselves.
- Being asked to detail all I know about data structures.
- Open-ended questions:
- How to solve the traffic jam on Highway in Toronto?
- What's the difference between Java and C?
There was no reply at all after two weeks.

Pros: The location was convenient, and I gained experience working in different departments.
Cons: Hard to move up, or even laterally. Management is intentionally not aware of low-level employee issues. Pay is unfair; I made way less than male colleagues, including stocks which were never offered to me despite performance reviews. I spent 8 years there struggling to grow without management support to do so.

Pros: The culture of the company is great! Everyone in the company has a voice, and your suggestions will be considered by your manager.
Cons: Compensation is not that great.
