Here was my general interview process:
- 5-10 minute phone screen
- First round: 1-hour technical with 2-4 Senior Machine Technical Specialists (SMTS)
- Second round: 1-hour technical with 2-4 SMTS
- Offer
The whole process took approximately 2-3 weeks from application to offer.
Overall, the interviewers were extremely patient, understanding, and friendly. They were happy to give hints throughout the interview to help guide and orient you.
Questions
Lots of computer architecture questions (e.g., floating-point representation, bit representation, caching, etc.).
Along with some basic OS questions.
