Process

I applied online for an internship.

I was questioned on basic logic design, and a few other verification-related questions were asked. I was also given a puzzle to solve.

The interviewer was very encouraging. We talked about my coursework. They also asked a lot of basic questions about computer architecture, as well as a few questions regarding object-oriented programming concepts like inheritance, polymorphism, and operator overloading.

Questions

Would you prefer to have setup or hold violations after the chip is manufactured?

How would you verify a 3-bit and a 64-bit adder? Would you adopt the same strategy?
