Good products and ideas, but not enough resources
Working on exciting, advanced, and complex designs with really smart people (and learning from them).
Teamwork is promoted.
Nice work environment and campus.
Too many products to do with not enough resources -- people and hardware.
Aggressive schedules have very little or no downtime between product deliveries, leading to burnout, compromises, and sloppy work. No time to try "what-if" ideas to improve the product.
Initiatives to improve design productivity are not working.
Review the total company product roadmap, not by market segments. Check if there are enough resources to do the total roadmap. Market segment roadmaps are like blinders.
