Great people, hard market.
The people I worked with were some of the nicest people around and were always willing to help me. When looking for resources external to my team, I found everyone was also open to helping. The culture is very open, which I've heard is the opposite of many companies.
Obviously, AMD is not doing so well. This is the biggest con at the moment, since the situation tends to hold morale down a little.
There are good people still at AMD. The market is difficult, but if AMD can pull out of the quicksand, it'll be worth it.
