Money. They pay well, that is about it.
The campus is beautiful, and the people are friendly from a personal standpoint, but the organization is terrible.
The internal workings of AMD are a complete mess. The management does not know what they are doing and treats the employees very poorly.
Extremely intelligent people are denied the promotions and raises that they deserve. Those that get them generally do so by brown-nosing management.
Treat your employees how you would like to be treated. If you got to where you were and were treated like this, you would not be happy.
