The main advantage of working at AMD is that the company is not performing up to the mark, and there are layoffs going on. Because of this, there is a resource crunch. Co-ops are the ones who benefit most. They are given a lot of responsibilities, which is expected out of a co-op term. I got to learn many things. No full-time opportunities. They only hire co-ops and get their work done at low cost. It's a good business strategy.
