A lot (~200) of other interns were there, so there were lots of opportunities to make friends. I still keep in touch with about 3-5 of them. The workload is highly dependent on your team: some coast a lot, others milk interns and new hires as much as they can.
Pretty awful. Everyone there is dead and the company makes no effort to care about you as an employee.
For example, incredibly cheap culture (we had to pay $15 to attend our own Christmas party if we wanted to go) and besides a small percentage (< 10%) who are actually passionate about computer hardware and electronics, nobody seems excited to be at work and general support for co-workers is apathetic at best.
Stop being so cheap and try to value employees more.
To be fair, though, I think AMD came from near bankruptcy about five years ago, so they're just trying to do their best to "milk" the most out of their employees to try to compete with Intel and Nvidia, both of whom have far more resources than AMD does.

The interview process was very smooth and well-organized. The recruiter kept me informed at every stage, and the interviewers were friendly, engaging, and genuinely interested in my experiences. Overall, it was a great and encouraging experience.
The interview focused on my resume, not technical coursework. Be well-versed in your experience and research your interviewers beforehand to tailor responses effectively. Expect resume-based discussions. Do your research well beforehand.
I interviewed for the Design Verification Engineer Co-op position at AMD in Markham. The interview lasted one hour and consisted of four technical questions, with no behavioral questions. Overall, the experience was nice. The interviewers, of whom
